Hello there!
I’ve been a bit quiet this week.
I’ve been under duress to get my wedding invitations finished. As my OH says, ‘no guests, no wedding’. He probably has a point. I’ve been a bit relaxed on this front as I had sent out ‘Save the Day’ cards before Christmas, otherwise I would have been panicking by now.
Anyway, after good use of every available minute the invites are now prepared. I just need to address those envelopes.
In more exciting news I recently entered a competition I came across on the veryberryhandmade blog.
The competition (The Big Spring Contest) was being run by the Offset Warehouse, an online fabric and haberdashery shop specializing in eco-friendly fabric sourced from all over the world, and Ali of Veryberryhandmade was one of the four judges.
As one of the four judges Ali collected in competition entrees for her particular nominated theme. Her theme was ‘my crafty friend’. I put forward this, rather scruffy, sketch as a project I would make for a particular friend who always has at least 2 yarn based projects on the go and is always getting in a muddle.
Each of the four judges had different themes to prompt ideas from their blog readers.
Anyway, amazingly, I have been chosen as one of the four finalists! Imagine my surprise when it popped up in my facebook feed! I’m just waiting to receive my chosen fabric to make up my bag, which then goes forward for voting by the public on the Offset Warehouse facebook page!!
These are my chosen fabrics from which I shall make my project bucket bag

Please wish me luck.
I’ll let you know when you can go and vote for me (obvious plug).
Love, Lucie xx
CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes, it is. Kind of like buying yarn on line. I hate trying new brands without touching them first.
