Now this is one pattern I’ve had for simply ages!
I shouldn’t have waited so long, it’s gorgeous!
The Roscoe Blouse by True Bias is a boho-inspired blouse with a gathered neckline and raglan sleeves. The neckline is finished with a centre slit and neckties.
After a lot of research and dithering about sizing, I sized down just half a size to size 6. From the garment measurement chart I could see this would still give me a whopping 11.5 inches of ease. Other reviews were split between staying around the proposed size or going down by up to 3 sizes so I was a bit nervous about how enormous my Roscoe Blouse would be.
It is still very very roomy but in this drapey Lady McElroy viscose challis from Minerva it is absolutely perfect. I think I would go down a size next time though.
In this size it’s definitely a blouse to tuck in!
There’s nothing too tricky about this make. The instructions were as you’d expect from True Bias, and very good.
I love it and in this leopard print it certainly makes a statement. At the moment I’ve only worn it with my dark Ginger Jeans but I need to spend some time in my wardrobe figuring out what else I can wear it with to make it a little more versatile and take it into the summer.
Love, Lucie xx
