After the success of my first Monty Shirt I knew I would be soon making another.

Many of my friends, and I, are celebrating our fiftieth birthdays this year and I needed a 70’s outfit for a ‘child of the seventies’ party.

I’d bought this fabulous print heavy crepe from a closing down sale.

Married with the Style Arc Monty Shirt it was the beginning of an outfit that turned out better than I expected!

Whilst I didn’t pattern match as such I did follow the colours down the shirt pieces and did match up the pocket flaps.

Worn with my wide leg jeans and accessorised with a further strip of fabric on my head and my seventies style sun glasses this made for a very easy outfit.

And a shirt I’ll definitely wear again!
Love, Lucie xx
I love your shirt! The colors are amazing. Very good job matching fabric and pattern.

Thank you. I was concerned about the weight of this fabric, it was a little heavier than my last, but it turned out well.

Thank you so much!! The glasses are new and whilst they are not to my OH’s taste, I really like them. 🙂
