Posted by Let me start by stating that this sweater is a complete copy of one made by WhatKimberleyMakes. I saw her version on the new Minerva website and immediately loved it, buying the fabric immediately. I hope she doesn’t mind and sees it as the greatest form of flattery!
This faux teddy bear fabric comes in 7 colours from Minerva. I’m trying not to purchase them all! I also bought the same ribbing fabric as Kimberley too ;), sorry, Kimberly.
I would say that whilst warm and lovely feeling on the inside, on the inside it is not so soft so you do need to wear a base layer/t shirt underneath.
But even my daughter likes this one and I’ve pretty much lived in it over Christmas.
It’s the fairly new Billie sweater and dress pattern from Tilly and the Buttons. It is the perfect sweatshirt. Just right in fit and slouch.
It has a relaxed shape, crew neckline and classic trim details. Sleeves come in 2 options, with cuffed straight sleeves, or with on-trend balloon sleeves and deep cuffs. This is the straight sleeve option.
I sized up slightly to a TATB size 4 (UK size 12) and made no adjusments.
It’s a very quick easy make that comes together beautifully.
It’s a perfect work from home sweater. I’ve another 2 in the works.
