Great British Sewing Bee

The Great British Sewing Bee returns next week!

What makes it even more exciting is that one of my blogger friends announced this week that she is actually on the show!

GBSB

The lady in the red trousers is Amanda of SewDeputy. I’m so looking forward to watching. I’ve followed her through much of 2014. She makes sewing with lace seem so easy so I’m hoping to see her do superbly in a lace task.

In other news there is a Q & A session that I took part in over at the Minerva Crafts site.
If you are recent to the blog and were vaguely interested about how I started out crafting, you might want to take a look.Minerva-Crafts-Network-Logo

Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Love, Lucie xx

  1. Hoorah! I did wonder when I noticed a programme the other night about the ‘Class of 2014’. Usually, when they do something like that, it means a new series is about to start. Can’t wait.

      1. Don’t ask!! I have to do all sorts of technical trickery to watch U.K. terrestrial T.V. since they moved the satellite. It involves a laptop, an HDMI cable and a service to hide the fact we aren’t in the U.K. One must be very determined and, as far as programmes like the Great British Sewing Bee, Last Tango in Halifax, Broadchurch and, recently, Wolf Hall – I can be very determined indeed!

      1. I was also thinking that too! I was wondering what they could possibly do, but you never know! I wonder if its more along the lines of following knitters and seeing what they make etc

  3. I was asked twice to audition for the first series but I declined when I found out it was going to be a ‘reality’ type show. I HATE any show which involves judges as it turns enjoyment into stress for both those taking part and those watching. I would have jumped at the chance if it was an informative, teaching type show which is what I first assumed:)
