Bower Birds for TheGrangeRange

Posted by

I’ve been busy crocheting for TheGrangeRange yarning bombing of her GP husband’s local surgery planned for later in the summer.Yarn Bombing Banner

The theme is fantasy garden and when I came across the freshly released Bower Bird Pattern by Attic24 I knew exactly what I would do.

You’ll find the link and lots of lovely photos just here, on the Attic24 blog. If you have never visited her site you are in for a treat.  Lucy from Attic24 is also (a very busy person)  heavily involved in the organisation of Yarndale coming up this September in Skipton, including organising the Mandala display.

She has run many crochet courses based on her Bower Bird but it is only now she has published the pattern and instructions.

So I set to work in the garden.

Bower Birds

And over the past week have been embellishing them with a few stitches here and there.

Last night they got stuffed.

I can just see these sat in a yarn bombed tree, can’t you?

Love, Lucie

      1. I love her projects, she’s a good pattern designer. I admit there are times when I find the folksy mumsy mindfulness stuff cloying, but I just skip over it! Do you read ‘Bunny Mummy’? She’s very similar but she does dress making too.
