I’ve made another Closet Core Kalle, with the same modifications as the one I made last year.

I have worn my previous Kalle shirt again and again.

In our recent hot weather I’ve needed a shirt that touches you only where it has too.

So I made another.
I wish I’d given the button band a tug before I’d taken these photos! Believe me, these puckers are not usually there!

I made a straight size 8 (I sized up slightly in accordance with my bust measurement) with the classic button placket and classic collar.

Again I lengthened the short version; lengthening the front by 4 inches and the back by1 1/2 inches. This left the back 3/4 inch longer than the front.

I think I’ve hit the length at exactly where I wanted it.
I love the deep wide hem facing and the sleeve cuffs.
This unique fabric is a beautiful crisp cotton from bricks and mortar shop Lucky Fashions in Dewsbury. I’ve been waiting for the right opportunity to use it.

I think this is perfect.
Love, Lucie xx
Love this shirt. You always look fantastic in what you have made. Have you found the back wants to keep sliding back. Not sure if it might be the material l used (viscose)

Thank you. No I’ve not found that in this one although I have in other pattern that was slightly too big using a viscose twill, a slightly heavier fabric, so maybe it is the fabric or maybe the sizing. Not sure 🤔
