Are you crocheting a Mandala for Yarndale 2014?
I kicked myself for missing last year’s festival of woolly delights at the end of the summer in Skipton. It’s definitely in my diary for this year.
It takes place on the 27th and 28th September and you can read all about it on the Yarndale site here.
Last year Lucy of Attic24 fame coordinated the coming together of crocheters to produce an amazing 6212 triangles for a jaw dropping bunting display.

Well, the bunting will be back this year but a new call has gone out.
This time for Mandalas.
Click here for Lucy’s post on Mandalas for Yarndale
There are full instructions and pattern ideas. Lucy only wants one Mandala from each contributor and you have until the end of June.
This is Lucy’s Mandala. There is a link to the tutorial on her post.

So what are you waiting for?
Love Lucie xx
I never realised that Yarndale was in Skipton! That’s so close! I have a good excuse to visit this year then ๐

I didn’t realise that it was only the first one, last year. I read so many blogs about it I’m determined to be there this time.

Thant sounds really great. Look forward to seeing your mandala. Skipton is the end of the world for me though, living so far south.

I see so many arts and crafts festivals advertised for ‘down south’, I’m so pleased to have one up here.

If I could I would. Is crochet like finger knitting? I can pull that off…

Ha, ha. I’m sure you could learn by the end of June.

The mandalas look so lovely! Me and my daughter sent off some bunting for Yarndale last year. We really would have loved to have gone but it’s a bit of a long trek for us from the south west and also my wedding anniversary weekend – not sure I would get away with spending it at Yarndale! Ha ๐

You seem to have your own yarn haven in Bristol! I think coming up to Yarndale on your anniversary would represent a real act of love ๐

Hee hee, yes you’re right! We also have a brand new Bristol Wool Fair this year at the beginning of September and I’m really looking forward to that ๐ x
