I’ve spent the weekend in the garden, ignoring the weeds but pattern testing for my good friend Tialys who blogs about her crafty life in France.
Well, we are only blogger friends but I feel we could be good friends if we lived on the same mainland!
Here are some teaser pictures. I’m thoroughly enjoying the process but you’ll just have to wait for the big reveal.
In other news it was Mr Jones’s birthday yesterday. My daughter made him a ‘Birthday Bakewell’, his favourite.
We couldn’t find the flaked almonds……or the candles. Good job too.
Love, Lucie x
Bakewell tart is my favourite! Might have to make one myself now!

I love that candy pink stripe – look forward to the reveal. I know what you mean about making friends on the internet and, I must say when I have then met internet-made friends, we have really got on well in real life too. Belated happy birthday to Mr Jones!

Hi Lucie
You mentioned in an earlier blog post that you wanted to try the Collette Mabel skirt. Well, I have the pattern and you can have it if you want it. I made the medium skirt (8-10) so it is cut but I hated the skirt when it was finished and will never use the pattern again. You are welcome to it, I’m happy to post it to you, I’m in Sheffield so you’re not far away.
Andrea
