ATC Complete!

Posted by

I’ve finished my ATC Artist Trading Card. It’s called,’Let the Leaves Fall’.

As a quick recap an ATC, or Artist Trading Card, is a mini work of art made onto sturdy card 2.5″x3.5″. Orginially hand drawn or painted, ATCs are never sold but are swapped with other artists. Their original aim was to enable people to collect small works by artists which they would otherwise not be able to afford.

Ali from Very Berry Handmade has organised this particular fabric based ATC swap.

There are 50 of us. We have all been allocated a fabric mad partner and given  a theme which is ‘Autumn’. We all do the swap in early November. I hope mine stands up to scrutiny.
Here are the various stages of my card.

I took a dark the dark colourway piece of fabric and placed it over a lighter one. I then stitched the trunk and branches of the tree.

I’m so looking forward to seeing the complete collection.

I hope you all had a relaxing (????) weekend.

    1. Thankyou. I use the stamp pad and letters a lot. I stamp little messages onto pieces of linen and attach them to my fabric Birthday Cards. I just need to get hold of some numbers of the same type face
