I have in mind a new apron. My current apron is now purely functional; it keeps my clothes clean; I wouldn’t wish to serve dinner in it (except to my nearest and dearest who wouldn’t care as long as it was hot).
If I had kept it just for cooking and not also crafting it probably would look a darn sight better than it does now.
I couldn’t justify buying one, so a quick search for some inspiration resulted in the following pins.
Beautiful and classy
Then things become a little silly when I came across these
At between £70 and £120 these must double up as something else!
Back to reality, these are quite lovely
So, with these in mind I have found this similar pattern on etsy but I’m still on the look out for something more like the Elizabeth W ones, above, and free!!
Love, Lucie xx

Just modify the pattern, the shape is roughly there…

I’m going to draft something up from scratch, along those lines.

Mine wouldn’t mind if it was cold. I often get “you never told me it was hot.” I never knew aprons could be so amazing!

Can not imagine who would wear the Cookie aprons. Perhaps someone who had just sneaked the caterers in with that home cooked dinner party meal 😉

The Sugar Pie Chic apron looks lovely! I would be afraid to spill something on any of those aprons – and I would – even if I was only drinking tea.

I agree. I’ll have to make a few a couple, an everyday one in a busy fabric and one for show!
